My heater is stuck on defrost only. I have had work done to my hubs and probably the mechanic messed with my vaccum system. Anyway I can not get heat through my vents in the dash or any other settings other than defrost.

Any suggestions?

When you move the knob to another vent position do you hear a hiss from the vacuum noise? If not then I'd make sure all the vac lines are attached properly. There shouldn't be any vac lines around the wheel hubs that would affect this. If you do hear a quick hissing noise when you move the knob, then your blend door might be stuck and is probably just a coincidence that this happened right after you got the vehicle back from having work performed on it.

there are vacuum lines going to the front hubs,they run your auto-locking hubs. does your 4 wheel drive lock in & out? when locking in my hubs the heater goes from floor to defrost.

There is a vacum pump on pass.side fenderwall , and you should here it going w/ign. on only, if not open it and turn small screw like a 2or3mm in or out,? cant remember but that will close the points at lower vac. and that fix,d my prob. w/ defrost only.
