help with 97 f250 ld rims
I just bought a 97 f250 ld with 4.6 and 7 lug rims it has steel rims that look like they have a crome peice pressed on to the rims and it had hubcaps on the front wheels so I went out and bought the hubcaps for the back not cheap but my problem is i cant get the new ones to go one they look just like the ones that came on the truck what I am thinking is that the steel rim has rusted and pushed the crome peice out so the hubcap will not go on just to be clear it is a crome peice pressed on to the rim looks like it is held on buy ege of rim buy the bead and hubcap goes in the middle and is held on buy lug nuts but crome peace will not let it seat in has any body had this problem
