Recently replaced fuel relay on 1989 F150. 6 cyl. 300 engine EFI, 5 speed. Ran for a couple of days and then died. Engine cranks but won't start. When key is turned can hear the fuel pump working.
i had it happen to me before, have the key in the off position and on the passenger side, on the fire wall there is a little toglle switch, push that, and turn the key to the one position and leave there for 5 seconds, then to the off position again for 5 seconds, and then try starting it
sorry for late reply, My e-mail hasnt been working.
I am thinking my truck has a bad wire somewhere, and I still havent found it. I have put more money in electronics than I wanted to.
Coil, Module, etc.
Good luck with the trouble shooting.
Pull the spout connector as if you were going to set the timing and see if it will start. If it does, I would have somone check the computer. otherwise it could be a wire.
