I was coming home from work today and just before I got home it decided not to go into gear. I was able to get it home (couple blocks) I stopped to pull in the drive and had a heck of a time getting it into 2nd gear. It was almost dark and my drive way is slanted. I have not looked to see I think it is a hydraulic tranny but not sure on that. So if it is Low on fluid would that cause it to not go into gear like that? I know on hydraulic there is no adjusting the clutch. but on the same time there was no warning as in slippage. thanks for the pointers.
Check and top up master cyl . if needed . If low on fluid you will have to check if it's the master cyl , slave cyl . or pipe that's leaking .You may / probably have to bleed the system .You dont normally get clutch slip if hydraulic leak , just unable to select gears .
