I feel like an idiot for asking this, but I'm having trouble finding the hood latch on my 1989 Ford F-150, since I've never had to open it before... Any idea where it is?

P.S. I'm talking about the second latch. I know where the initial hood release in the cab is

No stupid questions. There's a latch that you push down on the slight passengers side of center.

Thanks for the help, but I actually just found it myself. I had read on other websites that you had to reach through the grill to get to the latch so I tried that and found it. There's a cover over the grill though so I didn't think to look there... Thanks anyways :)

That's right. I forgot they chanhed the location in 1987. Glad you found it.
