I'm a lil New to the site just wondering how many people have power strokes and what's been done to them?

Ton of powerstrokes in my neck-o-the-woods.
Lot of farmers & ranchers hauling big trailers filled with livestock.
Most of the mods are only deleted muffler and gooseneck trailer setup with electric trailer brake control.

I saw that the ford trucks now come with 'fully integrated trailer brake control" That is SWEET !
of coarse, now chevy and dodge will have to hustle to match ford!
But from what I've been hearing, ford has them all beat with the factory power package, tranny, and suspension.
I've always preferred chevy trucks, but if I wanted a big diesel to pull a heavy trailer, I'd have to get the ford. Not only does the ford out-perform chevy and dodge, but the install on a "under-the-bed" gooseck hitch takes about half the time as the others.
And that banks turbo is the way to go....a few friends have 'em installed and love 'em.......haul a 28' gooseneck trailer full of cattle up a steep grade like it's a 4x6 utility trailer with a lawnmower on it....and chevy can't keep up. The dodges, cummins turbo diesel I hear is even worse....I wouldn't even consider buying one if it was half-price off the showroom floor.

Re: How many powerstokes?

man i was a chevy man myself, till driving my dad's powerstroke, i fell in love with it. And that "fully integrated trailer brake control" is cool as hell, i used it when i took the s10 to the shop for the Body Drop, the trailer never pushed me through a stop!! But yeah it's a beast i tell ya.
