How much vacuum should pump pull?

Does anyone know the vacuum specs for a vac. pump on an 88 7.3L? Im trying to figure out if my brake booster or vac. pump is bad. Brakes will work fine the 1st time you hit them. If you hit them again within a minute or so its like there is no vacuum at all.

Re: How much vacuum should pump pull?

I am having the same problem with my 92 F350 7.3 D. I replaced the vac booster. No leaks in master cylinder. Have you found an answer?
