So i have ignition question... i have a 1989 ford f250 that came stock with a 302 engine in it...it was then upgraded to a 1970 429 that came out of a mercury marauder and i am looking to upgrade my ignition system because after reading through some forums it sounds like it makes a huge difference and isnt that expensive of an upgrade so my question is would i need to buy an ignition kit for the 302 engine or for the 429 ignition kit...im not the most mechanically inclined so who knows this may sound like a stupid question for some but any help would be greatly appreciated and if truck use matters it is a mud drag/bogg truck basically thank you and cant wait to get some feedback

Depending on what was put in when it was upgraded. Probably the one from the 429 but I wouldn't know.

yeah im not completely sure all i know is that it looks like a rats nest of wiring from the swap that looks like a mofo to try to go through haha
