I just bought a 2002 F-150 from a friend and the interior lights do not come on when you open the driver side front and rear doors but the lights come on when the passenger doors are open. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
I think the switch is part of the lock assembly . If you give a good spray of WD40 using the straw in both door latches then open and close them a few times , might work .
Dirty or faulty door jamb switch. Have the same prob on my 78 F250. Sometimes I have to tap on switch to get driver's side to turn on the dome light. Let us know how it turns out for you.
