I test drove a 2005 FX4 F150 and it had a 6 inch lift with 35's. It was a dog because they didnt change the gearing. It had 355's gears....what gear ratio should be installed?

How tall are the normal tires? Divide 37 by height of stock tires in inches, then multiply the number you get by 3.55.

37 / 31" x 3.55 = 4.23

Is that what gears should be installed? Or is that the converted gear ratio with the 37" tall tires?
