bargerd Registered User Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Marietta, Georgia Posts: 1	Loss of Throttle Responce/Hard Down Shift@45mph While driving my 2005 F150 the throttle just stops working. RPM's drop to 800 and motor stays running. If I shut the motor off and restart it works fine again. This has happened two times. I also am experiencing a hard down-shift @ 40/45mph. Transmission not sure about gear selection. Pulled code for TPS & or Sensor @ Pedal. Ford Tech says I have to replace Complete Throttle Body Assembly however NAPA, Auto-Zone and Advance have Sensor only listed from $50.00-$90.00. I haven't checked with Ford Yet. Anyone have any guidance in this area of repair.
