New F350

Looking at purchasing a new F350 diesel. What are the differences in the 2012 vs. 2013s? Are the diff. ratios all the same on the 6.7s?

Re: New F350

I believe the diff ratio remains at 3.73. With the 6 speed autos you don't need the 4.10 gears that were on the previous 5 speed trucks. Taller axle ratio aids in overall fuel economy if the transmission ratios are spaced properly. I'm not positive, but you may be able to order 4.10s still as an option.

Overall the vehicles have no major changes to the powertrains. If you check online, and build a vehicle on the Ford website, it will show you the latest and greatest available.
