New Guy question

hey, new guy hear,

anyway i got a 79 f150 that i just put the origional grill back on to and a set of 35s. but thats got nothing to do with my first question tho lol... question is what years did the fuel injected 351w come in our trucks? and did any of them come with a 4bolt main. that motor isnt for my truck mind u, its another project...

As far as I know, none of the stock 351W's are 4 bolt mains but that doesn't stop them from being capable of huge power. The 302's and 351's share the same block and a blown EFI 302 can easily put out over 500 hp and stay together just fine. You can get 4 bolt main 351W blocks from Ford Racing but be prepared to pay a pretty penny. Do some shopping and see what you can find that's in your price range and go from there. As they say.....
