Oil inside filter side of turbo

I have a 06 powerstroke. I was changing the air filter and had the air housing off of the turbo inlet and saw some oil collected in the base of the turbo. Is this typical or indicative of a problem? The truck has only 30K miles. If this is a problem is it covered still under the warranty for the 5 year powertrain warranty?

thanks for help. Aaron

If you're still under warranty I'd take it in for a proper diagnostic. I would. To my knowledge there shouldn't be oil in the turbo, mind you depending on how it's installed, it's probably oil cooled, but shouldn't leak!
