we're having a problem loseing oil we havent seen no leaks we just have bought the truck we changed the oil and filter drove the truck about 50 miles and it was down at least a quart of oil and the oil looked like it had ten thousand miles on it after the oil was changed it was black. could the turbo cause this to happen or have we got other problems thanks

If its burning oil you should have blue smoke at the exhaust
Possible… on the turbo you can check the turbo shaft end play to see how loose it is and you will see oil inside the turbo housing if its drawing oil

Check the large air tubes from the turbo that got to the cooler. If they are full of oil, then you need a turbo.
