Popping Sound When Braking

I own a 2006 F250 Super Duty 4X4 with the 6l diesel. The truck has 30,000 miles on it. In the last month or so, it has begun making a popping sound when braking. The sound occurs only once during each stop. I've looked, and have had a shop look, for things such as broken anti-rattle clips. Nothing has been found. Anybody have any suggestions?
