Problems with starting due to no oil pressure
Hi all
I own a F250 xlt 2005 with 100000km.
Last Friday I tried to start the engine but after 10seconds it cut out and would not start again.
After calling RACQ and then Batteryworld the car got towed to Sunshine Ford on the Gold Coast.
I was informed that due to wrong engine oil the engine has to be removed to clean out the sludge. I queried that suggesting to flush the engine and replacing the oil I was informed that cannot be done.
I was informed that it will take 7 hours to remove the engine and based on that I authorised the job. After 2 days it is still not complete.
Please inform me whether this has to be done and how long does it take to
take an engine out of an F250
Thank you
Eric
Yours sincerely,
Eric Stettner
