ok..so i have a 2004 6.0 super duty, and i just ordered a pair of 6" Aussie stacks from Grand Rock. Im going to be putting them in myself and i would like it loud. The muffler will be removed and i will not have internal mufflers on the stacks... So do u think it will be very loud with stacks and no muffler or do I need to remove the cat. will removing the cat make it WAY LOUDER? And to remove the cat do i have to buy a cat delete pipe or can i just get a piece of pipe and put it in place of the cat? Thanks for any help...
The stacks will be much louder especially with the kitty removed. Check your local requirements for the kitty before removing permanently. The lower you place the top of the stack the louder it will get..
