Replacing Leaking brake pressure switch
As many of you already know, ford has recalled cars and trucks that could cause fire by leaking brake pressure switch.
My father's truck (2002 F-350) was one of them and did get problem fixed. All they did was adding in-line fuse to prevent fire. They did not replace pressure switch, probably because it was not leaking at the time or it never was part of the recall fix.
About a half year after getting recall fix, this pressure switch began leaking brake fluid and I'm planing on replacing it.
Do any one know if new brake pressure switch from ford will leak after few years like the old one or they have fixed it?
