That is correct but they also get converted in Melbourne.

Are you talking about the ones privately imported from Canada by VDC? I don't think they are turning the numbers that Ford Australia are, especially when they are double the price.

They are comercially imported by VDC from both the States and Canada, the price is alot differant i agree, but if you ever get the chance to compare the differance's between them you'll see why, i do agree that they are overpriced but i cant exactly go bagging them when i work for them.

I do agree, they are a little bit better - they actually have a glovebox too and of course the new Powerstroke - but i wouldnt pay that price difference... Hey can you tell me if VDC are ready to sell that white Excursion? my sister inquired about it a while back, they said they were still waiting on the compliance? What's the go with it now? Perfect vehicle for my sister's family.

haha i wish, i'd be putting my hand up straight away for it, due to it falling under a similar catagory to mainstream passenger cars theres a lot more tests that it needs to go through ie: crash testing, side impact etc.
Basically meaning that the boss would need to import another couple of them simply so they can be written off.
At the moment we've got a 40odd foot stretched excursion in the factory getting converted, which we can only do because it falls under the same catagory as a bus.

Its a shame because that excursion would make a kickass every day car.
