i have a 97 f350 powerstroke. if i start it in park it surges. if i crank it in neutral it runs fine. any info would be wonderful. i have alreadt changed all the filters.

Dont know. Blew all the fluid out about 6 months ago pulling a trailer. Took it to a trans shop. said it just got hot. Ill check. Thanks for the help. Could yhat be the problem? Ill go ahead and do that. Cant hurt.

You better put a cooler on that trans that works. Heat is the worst enemy of a trans.
