confused Service Engine Soon Light

I have a 2006 F150 and yesterday my SES light came on.
I took it to AutoZone today and they said they couldnt read it.
The guy tried two different machines but he couldnt get a reading.
What causes this?
I bought the truck used 4 years ago but it only had 7k miles so i dont think the previous owner tampered with anything.

Re: Service Engine Soon Light

Check all of the fuses. I think fuse 41 feeds the DLC.
