Question Sintetic or Regular Oil

I have a 2003 F350 superduty with a 6.0L diesel engine, I have 22000 miles and just switched to synthetic oil. Does any one think I will have a problem with that I've heard that you should not use synthetic on diesel....some imput please.

Re: Sintetic or Regular Oil

Dont see a problem with doing the switch. Should help the engine. I have seen many a writeup advising to switch to synthetics for diesels.

Re: Sintetic or Regular Oil

Shouldn't see any problems with it either. Good choice to change to syhthetic pretty early becuase changing to synthetic when the motor is a bit older can lead to problems. As long as you keep the maintencance up such as reqular oil and filter changes , you shouldn't have any problems.
