i have an 05 f150,and every morning i start truck,which just started it a couple days ago,but it now has a squeaking noise,it speeds up when i speed up motor,i put alittle belt squeak spray on and it still does it,but it pretty well stops after 15-20 minutes after truck has been running,and i cannot pin point where its coming from,truck has 42,000 and the small v8,any suggestions.

TRy with the belt off. If it goes away, the belt or one of the pulleys need changing.

bert,it kinda sounds like it is coming from the pulley,on opposite side of tensioner pully, its the little pulley that feels like plastic. im not sure if thats it,just the sound seems to me coming from that area. whats this pulley called,looks like the way its mounted is just a bolt thru the middle,and why does it quit when it gets warm. thks

The grease gets warmed up and gets to the bearing. It needs to be replace before it comes loose. It's not an immediate need but do it pretty soon.
