I have a 1981 Ford f-150 4+4, and my problem is this. I had to change the ignition tumbler, that was no problem. Battery craped out so i got another one. Truck started just fine, let it run a bit and parked it for the night. Here is where my problem is, i went to start it the next morning and had zero juice in the battery. So i boosted it and it started fine. Got in the cab and had no signal lights or power to the heater fan. When i do try either one of them, the parking brake light comes on, turn signal lights or heater off, parking light goes off. Fuel gauge also seems to work only when it wants. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you may have crossed some of your hot wires in the ignition. If you did not have a problem with the battery before the change out you may have grounded or exposed a wire lead to a hot lead causing the problems. The best solution that I can give is to re-track your steps and check the wire for frays or cracks and attempt to fix.
