I am having a problem with my 1997 F250 Diesel surging a little going down the road. I can actually feel it trying to speed up and slow down. Sometimes when I am moving from a dead stop, I can also feel it "leaping" or "surging". I have changed the fuel pump and the filter, but it is still doing it. Any suggestions?

I had a 99 do it when a wire pulled out of an aftermarket chip for the computer. If it keeps getting worse until it won't run check the cam sensor.
