Hey everyone. I own an 89 F250, its a worker. Recently the handle to open the tailgate snapped off on me, and I can not figure out how to get that sumbitch off. Its killing me and my guys, we keep our backpack leaf blowers in the bed, and they weight too much to be lifting up 50+ times a day. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! ~Pete

I would be looking at the inside of the gate , isn't there a panel that gives access ?

there is a panel on the inner side of the tailgate. remove it and see: there it is ! It is a bit complicated to install the new handle.
