I'm looking to replace the shoddy tailgate that the dealer put on my 2002 f350 before i bought it. Can anyone tell me what year models will fit this truck? Thanks in advance for your help!

thanks Bert. I looked at that site and I must be a dummy. I cant figure out which year models will fit my '02. Any help would be appreciated.

On the left side it shows all of the years the tailgates are from. When I checked, it looked like 2001- 2005.

A tailgate from a 99 through 07 will fit the truck. Even the ones off an f150 will fit. Before 05 it was the same tailgate for 150 &250 other than the model # logo. You can also get the 08-10 superduty tailgate but it will require changing the hinge bracket on the lower left of the truck. Its only 2 torx screws. The newer tailgate has a spring assist torsion bar built into it to make it easier to lift which is what requires u to change hinge bracket. Hinge bracket is relatively cheap.
