NO! Personally i think the electric step sides are a sham, unless you are building yourself a truck thats going to spend its life in shows, they just dont work in the real world. I went through two sets of them before i finally said enough was enough, its a great idea for the guy that doesnt want ugly rails off the side of this truck, and i am deffinetly one of those fellas, but not worth the headache. They get full of mud and then the bars bend, the motors burn out, they sometimes dont even come down, and this goes for snow and mud. Also who doesnt want to have to help all of the women into their truck because they cant make it on their own

You may find them more expensive or less, but the average price for a decent set of them is $2800 (canadian) including install, and they probablly are better than i make them out to be, just a little sour about my experience with them.
