transmission and p0401 code

Just got my transmission rebuilt on my 98 f150 and drove a cycle and now get p0401 EGR recirculation code. Does transmission or anything related have anything to do with this code.

Re: transmission and p0401 code

It's possible the hoses to the DPFE got knocked off and it's not getting a signal from the sensor. It could also be something unrelated. What engine do you have?

Re: transmission and p0401 code

Probably a hose off. If not something wrong with the DPFE circuit.

Code P0401-Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) flow was too low during EGR flow test. The PCM expects DPFE signal voltage to increase when the EVR duty cycle is increased.

Re: transmission and p0401 code

I doubt it. I'd check for a flow in the system. Those hoses can be knocked off easily.
