I have a 2006 ford f-150 with an automatic transmission and 112000 miles on it and when I'm on the highway going up hills it feels like it doesn't want to shift gears. When that happens I have to give it more gas to get it to shift. It also feels kind of sluggish while on the highway. It doesn't accelerate like it used to. I don't have any check engine lights on either. Any ideas what the problem might be?
I'd try that first. We've had the same complaints and all we had to do was replace the filter. I'd start with that. Poor of fuel can cause them to plug up in 15k miles.
