Turbo Help! 5.0 302

My question for you all is does a 87-93 5.0 mustang turbo kit work on a 1995 f150 5.0?? these kits can be found for very cheap and I would love to boost my new motor. Let me know what you think! Mustang guys help me out!

If the turbo kit does anything that ties into the PCM, then, no, it won't work. If the turbo is completely independent of the PCM, then I don't see a reason it won't. There are differences between the H.O. 5.0 and the standard 5.0, (firing order, for instance), but a stand alone turbo should be just adding boost through induction. However, bear in mind that the engine in your truck probably wasn't designed for high performance in it's stock form. If all you're doing for a mod is adding the turbo, I recommend keeping your boost mild. You may also end up with a nuisance CEL
