I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to drop my drive shaft to replace the u-joints. it's a 02 Excursion, please help!!! I can see the four bolts connecting the u-joint to the rear pumpking but it looks like i wont be able take them out.
It's been a long time since I've done u-joints. Usually, remove the nuts, slide drive shaft towards the front of the vehicle, remove the u-bolts the rest of the way,lower drive shaft and pull out from the tranny.
