My truck is 87 f-150 and when i bought it it has everything strait pipe no cats, mufflers its a dual exhaust from manifolds only this is a bad thing cause i think all the piping including manifolds have gone bad because i can smell the fumes some times when turn the a/c on.

Im thinking of putting some long tube headers that will go to a y pipe to the cat. converter to a 44s flowmaster to side exhaust in front of the back tire (passenger side) with a dual crome tip.

what do you guys think ... any good ? open to new ideas to but like this setup

My truck is a 87 f-150 xlt lariat 4x4 regular cab want to do this before I do a 6in suspension lift and bigger tires with new rims post pictures later

I'd keep it with a single outlet. It looks good, true to the original, and I see EVERYONE running duals these days. You won't see a power difference by running duals, or even true duals for that matter. It just adds cost and WEIGHT, if that matters.
