I Know the truck is a 1993 f-150
I know it's a v-8.
It has many modifications before I got it.
i know the truck does 0-60 in like 6 secs.
and its the fastest truck I ever been in.
so I need the head gasket fixed. but they can't find the style of engine it has.



what is the best way to get the starter off?

It could be the original engine that was modified. Look at the underhood sticker and see what it says for engine size. The starter bolt looks rounded off. You could try vicegrips. Is the upper one as bad?

well the book said it was a 3.0l v6.. but I'm absolutely sure it isn't a v8.(lol i mean v6) I'm wondering if It's a mustang engine.. but this has huge fuel injectors. and like I said It is a very powerful truck my dad did own it, and I started driving it, and honestly it scares the crap out of me. as for the starter, the top hasn't been tampered with yet. and I tried vices. but no luck. I have recently bought some pb blaster. Im going to try that later. (and thanks)

wait.. I mustve been thinking something else when i said 3.0 its a 4.9l v6 engine. Now i have the book in my hand. see this truck is hard to identify. And I want to get it fixed.

In your first picture, there's a decal on the bottom of the hood above the brake booster. That tells what engine it was built with. A 4.9, is a straight 6.

where does it say on the sticker engine type?

If you could, post a pic of the sticker on here.

Should say either on the top left or bottom left of sticker.

It's a V-8. Probably a 5.0 or 5.8L
