My 91-F150 won't crank over. When I turn the key it doesn't even click - only a faint hum. The battery tested good. I replaced the clamps to the battery terminals, checked the ground, and replaced the solenoid - still no go.
I jumped the solenoid with a screwdriver and it turned over, but didn't fire, so I'm sure the starter is ok. I'm puzzled. Any thoughts?
