wipers siezing on 87 f150

i replaced the motor... i replaced the switch... still has the same problem- but to a lesser degree the wipers during their cycle hesitate- or sieze at 1 spot. where they change direction to come back up and i dont really want to take it to a shop for them to look at it and say give me 500 smackaroos for doin jack squat. seems to me as a wiring problem... if anyone has help/suggestion/ or has had this problem please post back. thanx all!!

Re: wipers siezing on 87 f150

When you replaced the motor, did you move the linkage by hand to see if there's a binding there? It could be something in the linkage. If you live in the rust prone area, the pivots where the arms connect sometimes get corroded and they are hard to turn.

Yes, it sounds like a low voltage problem: either a bad ground, or high resistance on the 12V side.
