I currently have an 07 F250 with a 5.4 in it. Having just purchased a new camper that weights in at about 9500 pounds loaded up the poor little 5.4 just cant do it if the wind is not in our favour. Thinking about a truck I looked at tonight, its the same truck except it has the v10 in it. If I am not mistaken it only has about 62 more horsepower which does not seem like alot more. Any takes on this motor? The good, The bad?

And also if any one knows does the v10 triton motor have the same spark plug configuration as the 5.4 does that has caused me so much grief?

use to have a 99 v10 350 and it had plenty of power for towing bobcats and all that. anything will be better then that 5.4 it def isn't meant for towing. that is why they did away with it and went back to a big block design on the 6.2 in the new ones which starts @ 385hp and 405tq.
