That would make the 192 points a bit severe, particularly when it drops him from the series lead to 4th place.
Talk about inconsistency - so far this year:
We saw a 72 point penalty handed out to GRM for an underweight crankshaft.
PWR were fined $1,000 for not having a control ECU loom in place.
Matthew White (Konica) received a reprimand for the same offence as PWR.
The Skaife/Ingall incident at the end of last year cost 75 and 120 points resepctively on the initial stewards decision, later reduced to 30 and 90 points.
Good to see they are going to appeal.
