The FIA has announced that the Hyundai Motor Company has been 'invited' to a meeting of the World Motor Sport Council this October, following their decision to withdraw from the WRC last year.
It is believed that the FIA are less than pleased with Hyundai, as they quit the sport at the end of last season, in far from ideal circumstances. Motor Sport Developments [MSD], the outfit that then looked after the WRC operation for the Korean firm, claim that Hyundai still owe them money, and hence from the Rally Sanremo onwards, Hyundai failed to take part in the WRC, missing the final four rounds.{br}{br}
