2004 Charting the Changes / Lincoln
Car & Driver
October 2003
The LS sports sedan’s suspension is revised to reduce noise and vibration, and the transmission is improved to shift more smoothly into drive or reverse. A sportier monochrome LSE version arrives midyear. Town Cars get a beefed-up transmission and lose the cachet of the Cartier trim series, which is replaced by the Ultimate.
Aviator and Navigator sport-utes get standard tire-pressure monitors and optional AdvanceTrac stability control enhanced with new roll control.
