OK, I'm really hoping that someone can help me. I have a 1992 town car with the 4.6. I want to do some upgrading to it. I want to get more power from it. I've tried this question in the crown vic forum. I want to know if the ecm from a 1992. 93, or 94 p71 that has the same 4.6 OHC will work with my car. Also, if anyone can tell me if there is other performance upgrades that I may be able to find. Thanks
i am not sure if the ecm will work since it was made for your specs. Cold air intake is a good option but the high flow filters can bring in lot of particles unlike the paper filters so there is a trade off, also more horsepower u squeeze out of a car that is not made for more horsepower, the engine will wear out quicker, just my thought
