Im new to this forum, and a little lost navigating it. I dont know if it was my errors, my pc, or the site wasnt functioning very well on my first attempt.

Anyways, I recently owned an 88 lincoln mark Vll, and I really loved the car. I buy and sell cars alot, so for one to catch my attention like this one really means something. But I would like to get a 5.0 and modify it, modify it alot, make it into a real screamer.

Problem is I live in California. From what I understand, to smog a car, it cant have its engine modified. Can anyone give me any info on the legalities of this, and if there is a legal way around it??

Talk to 351w, he is in the truck section and he has just had problems with his truck and the smog laws. He might be able to tell you about the american smog laws.
