confused 00' Escort ZX2 Fuel Pump

I have a 2000 ZX2 and i was wondering if any1 knows where i can get a fuel pump or a thermostat for cheap. my fuel line drains if the car isnt running so i have to "prime" it a couple of times and then it starts fine. also my check engine light keeps coming on and the code says that i need a new thermostat. any sugs?

Re: 00' Escort ZX2 Fuel Pump

You will get a better price with aftermarket companies like Auto Zone, but as far as the pump goes, I would get a Ford replacement part since it is a complete unit w/sender.
