I have a 1990 ford escort gt that I need taken off my hands. This car has been sitting in Valdosta Georgia at a friends house for a few months now after having some engine problems. The car has always been underpowered and I'm pretty sure the piston rings are fried. There are a few things about this car that need to be known... like I dont have the key to the car and you can use a pair of scissors to start it... the battery just started to drain when the car is off(the battery was just replaced). My bet is it has to do with the stereo wires cause it started after I messed with them.. The exhaust smokes alot sometimes and at others not at all... The odometer stopped at 97,000 miles and I'm not sure how many are on it. I am willing to part it out, so just let me know what you need. And yes, I have the title.
Exterior- Very clean and almost dent free except for dent on rear hatch and a crack in front bumper. The paint is in good condition also but could use a wax job.

Crack

Dent
Interior- The interior is also in pretty good condition.. The center council arm rest is worn out and there's a small crack on the dashboard. The illumination is hooked up to a switch that was used for the rear defroster. Other than that and normal wear its in really good condition.

Crack
Engine- Oil gets sucked into the air intake through the vaccume hoses and burns oil out the exhaust sometimes. I'm pretty sure its due to bad piston rings.
The car will start up and drive if jumpstarted but doesn't have alot of power. I thought someone might want this for a project so hit me up with an offer. I'm going to let it go for real cheap..
