2002 Escort SE Idle Vibration

Well i have a 2002 Escort SE with the 2.0L motor, and at stop lights or stopped anywhere with the car in drive it shakes a rediculous amount, as soon as i put it in park or neutral though the vibration decreases alot, i took it to 3 places now, one said motor/trans mounts, and i have replaced all 4 trany, lower back, front, and passenger, another person told me it might be the harmonic balancer, but i am just confuzed its got just over 100K on it and it runs good just vibrates, did a complete tuneup plugs wires, fuel filter air filter everything, i cant seem to get a solid answer on this, could it be like the IAC Valve or something any input would be highly appreciated thanks in advance

Re: 2002 Escort SE Idle Vibration

Engine and transmission mounts would be my guess at the cause of the vibration. The IAC and TPS sensors might have something to do with it and are the cheapest of the three options so you may want to start with replacing those, both shouldn't run more than $80-100.
