cool 302 into 72 Capri

Has any one used a castlemane rod shop conversion kit to put a windsor into a MK 1 Capri. I'm about to get my project under way, and wanted to know if anyone had used one of these kits, and are they o.k.
Was engineering easy, did the trans crossmember line up o.k.
Any comments welcome.

unfortunatley i am not under way yet, but it is not far away. Glad to hear that you had no probs. What extractors did you use. They can supply a set of extractors for $440, but i am not convinced that they flow all that well, can you shed any light on these or let me know which ones you you used?

Any info would be great.

Have not got the extractors yet.

My understanding was that the CRS and Castle Auto electric extractors were only for those with the starter on the right hand side. You might like to check with CRS on this.

Will probably have to custom build a set as was hoping to do them in stainless.

Cool, thanx for the info.
Cause i am going to run an AOD-E from an 94 mustang, my starter will be on the opposite side to the C$ and modern falcon 4 spd autos, so custom ones might be the go,

THANX again for the info. Good to know these conversion kits are good though.
