rickw Registered User Join Date: Jul 2009 Posts: 1	88 escort only runs when throttle is pumped I have a 88 escort that I have been trying to get running. It has been seting for the lst 3 years. I puta a new ingnition module,fuel pump starter and fuel injector in it. I started and was running but would stall when I pressed the gas pedel. After driving it a while it will only start and run when I am pumping the gas pedel. I tesed the TPS and it starts at 4.8v at closed and goes down to 2.8 when open. I believe it is the TPS but am not sure. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks
