Question ’88 Sierra, ignition problem?! Engine stopped when driving.

My brothers Sierra 1988 2.0 SOHC stopped when turning of the highway, since then has it refused to start.

There seems to be fuel to the injection, it smells like it anyhow.
I have measured that there is voltage to the ignition coil but there is no spark at the spark plug.

What could be the problem? Distributor, earth-connection, spark plug lead or the ignition control box?

Is there any known problem that has this symptom?

As you see from my language I’m not native English speaker, but I hope that you understand me :-)

For a non native english speaker i have been able to understand you far better then a lot of people that are native english speakers :)

i would go along the lines of checking spark to the plugs, starter motor etc etc could just be that there is no spark getting along the spark plug leads either
