89 laser that wont idel

i have a carby kh laser that wont idel , it will only idel sometimes when the car is started cold, i know shit all about carbys so what things do i have to check, all the routine mechanical work is up to scratch oil plugs e.t.c

red ea s-pack 5 speed, engine, 4 wheels + spare, steering wheel, brakes, suspension, exhaust, 20w x 4 stock standerd stereo system, diff (rear wheel one), clutch, seats (including 2 retractable front seats) all with seat belts. Performance Mods : air filter removed, fuel filter removed, some guards taken off for weight reduction.

it could be anthing... but i would say mostly a spark plug might be faulty or worse case scenario head gasket "shot"

eh i also notcied under ur car specs - performace mods u say u have removed the fuel and air filter

i hope u have put high performance ones in not that leave it empty lol

Have a look at your fuses. There is one marked engine and should be 15AMP. If this fuse is 'blown' it could be your problem. It controls the electrics to a solinoid on your carby that has something to do with 'running on' and idleing.
